Herbert M. Singer

It is with great sadness we share the loss of our friend and loved one.  Herbert “Herb” Morton Singer a longtime Garland, TX resident died Friday, January 27, 2012 in Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, TX.  Herb was born February 25, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late George and Freida Postal Singer.  He was a retired businessman in the jewelry industry, Dallas.  He is survived by his brother Jack Singer and wife Evelyn; Garland.  nephew and niece Jeremy and Juliet Singer;  longtime family friends Lisa, Joyce and Al James, Carrollton, TX; and his “buddies” at McDonalds-Garland.  A graveside service has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Beth Shalom Cemetery, Shaler Township, PA.  Pittsburgh arrangements are under the direction of D’Alessandro Funeral Home, 4522 Butler St., Pittsburgh 15201, 412-682-6500.
