Sandra Lynn Witkop

Sandra Lynn Witkop, 54 of Quinlan, TX, passed from this life to the next on Sunday, September 5, 2010 in Plano TX.  Sandra, the daughter of the late Donald Miafert, and Rita Wagh Maifert, was born on August 18, 1956 in Livonia Michigan.  She met her husband Tom Witkop and married in 1972, in Brighton Michigan.  They recommitted their relationship in Quinlan Texas in 1992.  Sandra loved spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren, scrap booking and was artistically creative.  She loved cooking, camping and fishing and doing anything with her family.  She was a dedicated mother, devoted grandmother, loving wife and a friend to all.

Sandra is survived by her Husband, Tom Witkop; Sons Tommy Witkop and wife Jamie, Thomas John Witkop, and Jason Witkop, Daughters; Monica Seastrunk and husband David, Carrie Thomas and husband Ryan, and Angie Rummings and husband Wes, Brothers Rick Maifert and wife Connie, Robert Maifert and wife Kerry, Sisters; Diane Shinde and husband Nitin, and Cheryl Samborski and husband Jon.  She has seven wonderful grandchildren, Marissa, Nicholas, David, Breanna, Megan, Tiana,  and Wesley, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and friends.

 A Celebration of Life Service will he held at Christ Community Church, 6404 Paige Road, The Colony Texas 75056, 10:30 AM on Friday September 10, 2010.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Cancer Society, or to Christ Community Church in the Colony.

I know that you will be missed by so many. You were an amazing mom, grandmother, wife, aunt, sister, friend & to me my best friend. The boys & I love you so much & will miss you each and every day that goes by. You touched so many lives each day you were on this earth and I know that I was so blessed to of met you let alone be a part of your life. Thank you so much for all that you did & for blessing me with such a wonderful friend in my life. Until we meet again. I love you & miss you so much already.
