Lynn was always so kind to me. When I was a little girl and would bug him and my sister, he'd buy me an ice cream cone to get me out of the room! When I became a big girl, he was still always good to me. He will be missed. My sincere sympathy to his immediate family on the loss of a truly good man. Love and prayers

Dear Mari and Phillip: I first knew your mom when we became friends when we worked together at the University of Michigan in the 50's. We then started getting together with our husbands for dinner, cards, picnics, etc. Your mom was my model of a wonderful, talented human being. She and your dad were true Christians and lived their lives accordingly. I so admired your father, Lynn. He was so intelligent and interesting to be with. I'm the one who got your mom interested in parakeets since she took care of my pet parakeet when I went to Germany for a year. I remember the wonderful coming-home meal she made for us when we came home from Germany. She was such a wonderful cook and your dad surely enjoyed that. My husband and I had many wonderful times with your parents. I loved them dearly and missed them so when they moved to Texas to start a new life there. May God be with you and Phillip as you go through this very difficult time.

Lynn - You will be missed, but I know you are in a better place (with Jesus). There is no doubt that you loved the Lord with all of your heart. I remember when we first met at Varo in the early 70's and our Bible studies. You gave me a concordance. I enjoyed our visits this last year although I know you were in great discomfort and lonely. I look forward to joining you soon!
